The resolutions are fine and I think the screens are plenty clear for my use. I actually have four monitors: Laptop, vga attached monitor, and two of these devices. I use them to put MS Outlook on one screen, IM on another and Internet on a third. You can't use these for video editing, and at the price, you should not expect it to. The video gets kind of mangled when attempting to watch video, but that's OK, I just move the video to the primary screen of my computer setup. For business purposes, they work great.
